Calgary Talent Pool works with business to tap into pools of talent often overlooked.

The Calgary Chamber of Commerce's Talent Pool Development Society has been working for five years with business to provide information, education and links to sources of under-utilized talent. These under-utilized groups are young people, mature workers, Aboriginal people, immigrants and people with disabilities.

The Talent Pool regularly provides learning events for business related to not only the five under-utilized groups but to the global labour force, worker productivity and career development and management.

It organizes the Career Show, an annual two day event for young people and all others wishing to improve their career circumstances. The Show features over 100 exhibitors including all post secondary education institutions. There are career selection, development and personal growth presentations throughout the show at two stages and a resume critiquing service.
